About the Artist

Hello, My name is Debi Smith and I have been an artist for most of my life. It has always been a passion of mine However, I never looked at it as it potentially being a "job". It helped with my mental health and dealing with the day-to-day stressors of life. Having an artistic outlet does wonders for your soul. As a young child I always had the ability to draw using graphite pencils. As I got older, I changed my medium to pastels. I started doing dog and human portraits. I fell in love with it! My artwork has been featured in local galleries as well as art competitions. In 2023 I decided to give "burning" hats at try. I absolutely love it! I have branched out to burning other items such as Guitar straps, hair clips, wood, baseball hats. Really anything that can be burned can be done.
